Nancy Talley Owner – 500 Hour E-RYT

Nancy began her yogic journey in 1997 while working in the Los Angeles fashion industry. To relieve stress and insomnia she explored Kundalini and Restorative classes but soon found Vinyasa to be her calling. She attended the White Lotus Foundation to study under Ganga White and Tracey Rich for her 200 hour RYT in Santa Barbara, CA. Nancy received her 500 hour RYT through Beloved Yoga in Reston, VA in 2012. Nancy has also studied Yin Yoga and has completed the Self-Awakening Yoga Therapeutics Teacher Training under Don and Amba Stapleton. Nancy reminds her students to work with compassion towards themselves and to stop and enjoy the journey rather than focus on the final pose they are trying to achieve. She purchased Soaring Spirit Yoga Studio in 2010 and hopes to continue to serve the growing yoga community in Prince William County and surrounding areas.

Debbie Kramer 200 Hour RYT

New Jersey native Debbie Kramer fondly remembers her first Vinyasa yoga flow sequence in 2008 and its profound effect on so many facets of her life. Very early on into her yoga studio practice she started seeing and feeling light. She could breathe. Her heart was opening. The more classes and workshops she attended, the stronger she felt emotionally, physically and spiritually. She started a home practice. No matter what professional and personal stressors were going on around her, she knew it would be OK – she would be back on the mat soon. Debbie was humbled to complete her Vinyasa Yoga 200 Registered Yoga Teacher training in June 2014 from Soaring Spirit Yoga Studio in Occoquan, VA. Her teaching goal is simple: spread the light to others.

Shernita Parker, 200 Hour RYT

Shernita is a 200 Hour RYT and began practicing yoga to alleviate back pain from pregnancy, but quickly found the benefits of yoga went far beyond the physical and provided her a sense of balance and calm that "softened" her natural tendency towards a more Type A personality. After five years of practicing yoga, she decided to attend teacher training to deepen her own practice and share her love of yoga with others. She received her training from The Health Advantage Yoga Center in Herndon, Virginia in 2008 and teaches beginner, mixed level, and flow based classes. In her own practice and with students, she is fascinated by how deepening the understanding of anatomy enhances the practice of yoga. For her, yoga's focus on uniting the mind, body, and spirit provide a grounding to help one to thrive in all areas of life.
